This just gives the vibe of a New York Italian deli. I got the rice ball. It was so crispy on the outside, so creamy and soft on the inside. It was insane. The workers do not mess around. They are super super friendly and they get your order to you super fast.

Delicious! The sandwich is packed with 3 strips of chicken cutlets, and very fulfilling.

Faicco's is on every visitor's food tour map for a reason. They've been provisioning Italian staples in the neighborhood for a hundred years, and might even make it another 100, who knows. I rarely go in because I live on the Raffeto's side of things, but they've got all the good stuff here, too. The one advantage it does have over Raffeto's are the oversized sandwiches. There were several that spoke to me but since this was my first time here I had to test drive the Italian Special. It comes piled higher and thicker than I've ever seen with prosciutto, capicola, and soppressata--essentially Italian crack between two long slices of delicious hero bread. It is an insane stack and one that I somehow managed to wolf in one session. They're pricy, of course, especially these days, but you can easily make 2 meals out of one sandwich. A top 5 Italian sandwich in NYC!

Best eggplant parm sandwich I've ever had. It's massive so you're guaranteed to fill up. For me half a sando was more than enough. Juice layers of eggplant with melted cheese and marinara sauce is just right. I'd recommend eating it right away but it's also good for take away at home.. only thing is the bread gets a little soggy. The guys working there are welcoming and friendly. They have a Take a Number machine at the front but it wasn't working when I came so not sure if it ever does. It gets a little confusing who's in line but they push the orders through pretty quickly. Feels like an old mom and pop shop. I like the vibe.

From the moment I walked into this Italian sandwich haven, I was transported to the streets of Italy. The aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air, creating anticipation for the culinary journey ahead. The menu boasted a delightful array of options, each promising an authentic Italian experience. I opted for the chicken parm sandwich, and it was a symphony of flavors. The meats were cured to perfection, the cheese was rich and flavorful, and the veggies added a refreshing crunch. What truly set this place apart was the attention to detail. The bread had the ideal crunch on the outside while maintaining a soft, airy texture inside. The ingredients were meticulously arranged, showcasing the commitment to quality. The friendly staff added to the overall positive experience, providing recommendations and ensuring that every customer left satisfied. This Italian sandwich place has mastered the art of delivering an authentic and delicious taste of Italy. A definite five-star gem that I'll be revisiting regularly.

I've had Faicco's on my bookmarks list for years, but I infrequently think to trek over to the West Village for lunch. It's just far enough away that I'd need to have a full hour in my day to get there, pick up food, and get home. Often, I'm bouncing from task to task and I'd rather just nuke some leftovers. I found myself passing through the neighborhood after an early morning dentist appointment. They're open early, so I was able to run by en route home to resume my routine, so I figured I'd pop in and pick something up for later. Admittedly, I was a little intimidated by the $21 price tag for my Italian Special sandwich, but as soon as the fellow behind the counter whipped out the monstrosity to finish topping it, I realized this was no ordinary sandwich. It's the Italian hero by which all other hoagies measure themselves. When it was finally time for lunch (an interminable several hours later), I pulled the beaut out of my fridge and couldn't unwrap my prize fast enough. What I beheld as the butcher paper came away was next-level mouthwatering: layers upon layers of impeccably shaved meats, hefty slices of cheese, juicy tomatoes, a chiffonade of lettuce, all topped with marinated peppers. Believe me, this beast did not disappoint. My salivary glands kicked into overdrive and I nearly had to unhinge my jaw to even get it into my mouth. Its savory flavors blended together like the most exquisite of cocktails. As I suspected, I only made it through half before having to call a break. Even the most dire of appetites would be sated by one of Faicco's subs. Fortunately, I didn't have any other plans for dinner... As a longtime devotee of Potbelly's Wreck and Lamazou's Lamoretti, I'll admit that I'm smitten by Faicco's. If only it were located slightly closer to home, I'd be dropping wads of cash here more regularly.

Faicco's Italian Specialties is the barometer that all other Italian delis should be judged against. Their subs are amazing. They are high in size as well as huge in flavor. These subs are the star of this establishment and again, this Italian deli should be the barometer that all Italian delis are judged against. Immediately upon walking inside, the ambiance alone let me know that I was in for something extraordinary. The staff was friendly and again, the food is amazing.
